Well, I’ve done it.  I’m now a part of SwagBucks.  I figured I might as well get the occasional gift card from all of the web searches I normally do.  It takes 45 swagbucks to get a $5 Amazon giftcard.  With 1-2 swagbucks a day I should earn one gift card each month and that is without even trying.  I like free stuff so it’s a good deal.  If I wanted to I could use my swagbucks to get video games, dvds, books, or even a Napolean Dynamite baseball cap.  They have a lot of items to choose from.

My dog, a 15 lb. Westie, escaped out the back door the other day when I wasn’t looking.  My sister’s dog heard her and barked but we didn’t know why and didn’t bother to check it out.  About thirty minutes later I called the dogs to get leashed up for a potty outing but she didn’t come.  My sister and I looked all over the house and realized that the back screen door wasn’t latched.  So, we went outside and started walking around the neighborhood calling her name.  A few minutes later she ran up to us and was so excited about the reunion.  That’s when I saw the poop.  She had been going around the neighborhood rubbing in all the poop she could find; dog poop, deer poop, bird poop, and who knows what else.  She had the time of her life.  I was disgusted and amused at the same time.  She was just so happy… until she received a good scrub in the tub.

Whenever I go to a shelter I can’t help picking a favorite. This time it was Tucker the Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler Mix. He has beautiful markings and is so very sweet. He is such a wonderful dog.

It has been snowing so much this winter and I’m sick of it.  I live on the end of a cul-de-sac so the snow just piles up and makes it difficult to get in and out of the driveway.  -_-;  I feel like it doesn’t matter how much I shovel because it’s just going to snow again.  I’m starting to wonder if my shoveling actually initiates the snow launch sequence.  Supposedly another big storm is on it’s way right now.  *grumble*

While you’re snowed in, check out my gallery, it’s all spiffafied.  Most of the pictures are from my favorite manga, Please Save My Earth by Saki Hiwatari.  She has some really beautiful pieces.  Then I also threw in a few Sailor Moon pictures from one of the art books.  I’m not into Sailor Moon but her artwork aint too shabby.

I love Three’s Company.  I never thought that I’d be able to watch an American sitcom from the 70′s and like it.

At first I hated it, Suzanne Somers’ acting was poor and John Ritter’s over the top slap-stickiness got on my nerves.  Now that I’m used to it, I really enjoy the show.  The plots are funny and the characters lovable.  I especially like Joyce DeWitt as Janet.

This new discovery inspired me to give a few other 70′s sitcoms a try.  Sometimes I watch the last fifteen minutes of M*A*S*H because I’m waiting for Three’s Company to start.  In two of the three episodes that I saw they had to be saved by a helicopter.  It would have been more entertaining if the helicopter didn’t show up and everyone died.  I really don’t like the characters at all. :P  (When my sister and I were younger, she would scream everytime she heard the theme song… she probably still does.)  Sanford and Son was pretty funny but didn’t capture my interest enough to keep me from changing channels.  I loved Mork & Mindy as a kid… I don’t love it anymore.  Maybe it’s just that I’ve seen enough of Robin William’s humor to last  two life times.  (btw, Jim Carrey also falls into that category.  -_-’ )

My brother, Kevin, gave me this website for Christmas. It’s awesome. Now I just need to figure out how to work it.

We opened up our Christmas gifts a few days early; I got a whole crap load of ‘em. (Btw, thanks to everyone for the gifts, I really like them. That reminds me, gotta drop off Dad’s gift.) Then we went to Outback Steakhouse.

I wanted to go there because they have those cute commercials. The little stripy people throw their cell phones in the air while that song that gets stuck in my head plays, “let’s go outback tonight, life will still be there tomorrow.” Of course I wanted steak too so that worked out.

The steak was good and they had really yummy garlic mashed potatoes. The only downside…GIGANTIC SILVERWARE! Their forks and knives were at least double the size of regular silverware. My poor nephew couldn’t use his fork very well so we asked for a smaller one. The only other thing they had was an itty bitty crab fork; at least I think that’s what the waiter said it was. It was hilarious.

Yesterday, for the real Christmas, I went over to my eldest brother’s house. His kids are adorable. We had dinner and caught up. To sum things up, Christmas was pretty good this year.
